Well, besides Stella being incredibly lazy…
BATHS! For one, they bathe in two different tubs. Stella takes up the entire bath tub and she loves to “eat” the water spraying out.
She is great in the bath. She just stands still and lets us use a whole bottle of shampoo on her. This is one of Layla’s favorite times of the week. She loves helping to get Stella clean!
For obvious reasons…a shaking wet dog, lots of hair and drying issues I am not able to document Stella coming out of the tub. ha ha. But take my word for it…she is beautiful and smells like a rose…almost…not quite, but one day she’ll get there.
And Cali in the bath. well, she only cares about drinking the water off the bottom of the tub. Yick. Excited for her bath!
The washing part…I just feel sorry for her. She’s a drowned, pathetic looking rat. Only a face a mother could love. No, I take that back, I have a hard time loving her looking like that. But her Daddy has a soft spot for her. ha.
She doesn’t look so happy anymore. One more for the full effect…
OK, I’ll stop. If she only knew I was making fun of her.
Dinner tonight was amazing! I tapped into a classic…
OK, I lied, but…”Trust the Gordon’s Fishermen”! Frozen fish…the first time I have ever bought frozen fish…I had a good coupon. Good old Mac and Cheese and at least a homemade coleslaw!
I had 2 assignments and a power point presentation that were due today so I didn’t have a lot of time to spend on dinner. But, the girls loved the fish and I’m proud to say Layla, again, ate her entire dinner!
We also pulled apart french bread (it was supposed to be cubed but I thought the girls would enjoy the tearing) for a Paula Deen Bread Pudding recipe to make tomorrow.
The bread is supposed to stale overnight. And I had to buy Brandy for it. I hope I didn’t buy too cheap of a liquor! I would hate to get a headache from a desert! (Only kidding, maybe?)
