But, you know me...and I will say more.
Jason's replacements got there last night. I have been waiting for something "meaningful" to happen before I entered into my next stage of excitement...that was it. It's crunch time now. If only I could get Jason off the computer long enough to get something done! (Love you, honey!)
Yesterday the girls and I went to a food and wine festival with Dan. Every vendor assumed we were married and the girls were ours. We knew it would happen and we just went with it. ha ha. The food was "so so" and the prices were steep, but we still had a good time and plan to go again next year. Although next year, I will go with my actual husband and Dan will go with his actual wife. ha ha.

This was OK, for eggplant...it was some kind of roasted pepper eggplant concoction.
Dancing to the live band...soon, the little girl to the right was their best friend!
Of course, I had to have BBQ, it was NOT good. Boo!
After that, I took the girls shopping for their homecoming dresses.
There is a reason I don't take Ava shopping. She knows what she wants, even if it isn't what I have in mind...and there is no fighting with her on her "fashion". So when I gave in and said she could get the dress she was begging for...then we HAD to get her new sandals. That girl knows what she likes and what she wants!
The dresses will be a surprise, since both girls got to pick them out. I will tell you, Layla's is purple...of course! ha ha!
I just loaded pictures from my phone...and I just realized how much I haven't talked about. Oops. What happened to..."It's May...that's all I need to say!"
I don't think I have mentioned Ava's VERY wiggly two bottom teeth! She is VERY determined to lose them before Daddy comes home! She eats at least 3 apples a day and literally only bites in with those two bottom teeth. She is begging me for corn on the cob! Thank goodness the Tooth Fairy already has a money stash! Bring on the teeth!
Alright, what is next on my lineup of pictures...
Wait a second...how did I miss this one! MY SISTER IS HAVING A BOY! Did you get that...
A BOY!!! Little Athen is set to make his debut in September. I am flying to Florida to be there to help and get my baby fix! I can not wait. I started buying boy clothes years ago. I have given fair warning to Natalie, Amanda and Krissy...that who ever is having a boy first...they are going to be set in the clothes department!

I know there is something else I have missed. Yes, Easter!!!
First off, know one ever told me that the Easter bunny can hide boiled eggs BEFORE you go to bed. I thought that was a no no! So...the Easter Bunny has always set her alarm for 5am so that the eggs don't go bad. Well, my Mom informed me a few days ago that the Easter bunny for me, growing up, always hid them before the bunny went to bed...and we never got sick from warm boiled eggs. Thanks Mom!
So, the girls woke up on Easter morning to 36 COLD boiled eggs hiding in the house and Easter baskets full of goodies the Easter bunny usually doesn't bring. Clothes and jewelry...hey, they needed those things and why not...ha ha ha!

I think I'm done. I think I have caught up on all the happenings according to the pictures on my phone. ha.
Except for one...I'll leave you with a picture of my dumb dog. She is exactly that, dumb. And I'm not sure why I love her...but for some reason, moments like this...she's cute.
